Snow neighborhood

Merry Christmas too us. And welcome back!! This is what we received 5 days after we got back from our WARM vacation. Man!! I could have sworn we moved from Utah and to Washington. What ever happened to those "mild winters"?

now igloo

Brayden and Kalli tried really hard to get an igloo done, but didn't quite make it before it started to rain.....and down went the walls. It was still nice to see them working together....for the most part.

Brayden and Kalli enjoyed playing in the snow. Brayden especially. He LOVES the snow and misses it a LOT. It's like he's floating on air when he has snow to look at. He's going to make a GREAT weather man!!

They made a great snow man with the daycare kids this day. Brayden didn't take it very good when he got a little top heavy and his head fell off.

Brayden's braces

Brayden has braces!!!
Isn't he so cute in them. Getting used to them has been a challenge, that rash on his chin is from the braces. I think he's finally on the mend. He went in the day after we got back from our trip!

Jeanine whole family

This is the whole family! We all got together for my parents 50th anniversary. It was a lot of fun. We haven't all been together since....I can't even remember. Isn't that terrible.

This is my brother and sisters, Lft to right: Steven, Sharla, Jeanine, bottom row lft to rt Brenda, Deb. There's also a picture of all the grand kids and then one with my cute mom and dad and brother and sisters. It was so much fun to get us all together and get the entire family!!! It was truly a great blessing for us all to get together for my mom and dad's 50th annivarsary.

Ok, so it took me long enough to add our family vacation to good old Utah, I just got "lost". BUT never late than never!

These is our cute, adorable family! Aimee is 16, Brayden is 12, and KalliAnn is 7. We had these done in Ogden while we were in town briefly the end of Aug. We had a blast!

Ok, so she'll probably kill me for putting this on here, but I just think she's so talented. I know she's doing great with learning photography, but now I know she's actually a pretty dang good model too. We'll be seeing this girl on America's Next Top Model!

30 mile hike 2008

Brad took his scout troop out to the west coast to complete a 30 mile hike for scout camp this year. Sister Farley, her daughter Amy, and I went out with them to move the trucks to a camp that was about 40 miles (road ways) away. I got to see Forks!!! Go Twighlight! Anyway, he also took a buddy from work and his troop since their troop only had 3 boys. They had a great time and saw some beautiful country.

30 mile hike along ocean

The boys had so much fun, even though they worked their little bums off to get around. They each had to carry their own back packs, plus help carry some food too. Each back pack weighed about 25-30 lbs. They were fortunate enough to see some deer at the water. They got about 10 feet from the deer. They all did such a great job, with no complaints. In fact, they wanted to keep going!! They a lot more ambitous than I would be. Give me a night and I'm good!

Kalli learned so much at Ekstroms swimming lessons. She is actually swimming now. She is so proud of herself and we are too!

Seaside

While in seaside Brayden and some friends he met there dug a huge hole and Kalli got to enjoy some of the perks too.

We went to Seaside for the 4th of July and had so much fun! The weather held out for us just long enough to enjoy the awsome fireworks. Can't wait for the next time we can do that!

Brayden had his 12th birthday! I can't believe he's 12! He was ordained a Deacon last week. We are so proud of the progress he's made. He and a couple of his friends had fun just being boys that day.

We got a new pool this year that the kids have totally loved. We thought it was going to be too big for Kalli when we got it out, but it's been just perfect! We've all had a great time dunking on those not-too-often summer days.

Kalli's 7 year birthday

Kalli and her friends go swimming for her party. Kalli is very afraid of the water, so getting her to go out at all with out mom was a great thing! Brayden and Brad also had fun with the girls that day.
