St Maarten was so beautiful. The water was absolutely breathtaking (as was each port we stop at). The people there are so carefree. We loved it. Aimee was especially fond of the shopping. Yes, we actually ate that food. It was pretty scary eating something that was still looking at me!

St Maarten

This was on a dock that was specifically for snorkeling. It was such a blast. We each saw some amazing fish and sea life; except for Kalli. She wouldn't get in. She enjoyed looking at the fish from "a-far". The picture of the kids was right before we got off the boat to go into St Maarten. Yes, they were getting along as well as it looks. :) We had a GREAT time after all.

Labadee, Haiti

Our last island was Labadee, Haiti. Royal Caribean leases the tip of the Island a redid it just for them. They had a water park and a 40 feet high slide. When we were done on the beach we walked up to the shopping area. That was an experience to never forget. Worse than Mexico. EVERYONE wants to sell you something. They are like grabbing you to come see their stuff. It was crazy. It scared Kalli half to death.

They had a great kids area for the younger kids. The kids and the adults spent a lot of time at the Flow Rider. All of them got pretty good!

Alligators at Gator Park

This was kind of the highlight of Gator Park. The "Gator Guy". Most of us took turns holding the mid size gator. Brad's mom was not too sure about it, it was hilarious to see her about jump out of her wheel chair when he brought the gator around behind her. We all ended up smiling anyway.

At the Everglades we did a Airboat ride and played around with the "Gators". Although we saw a few of them on the side of the highway, we went to Gator Park to see them up close. One of them looked he was going to come right in the boat. It was kind of freaky.

Mortenson visit

When we got to Florida we enjoyed the day with the Mortensons (friends that moved from Washington to Florida). We had a great time catching up for the day. We spent time at Disney World Main Street (because of the lack of time). We really had a great time seeing them. They have it lucky in my opinion (they think 65 degrees is COLD).
